I had a Marui Hunter back in the 80's and recently got the chance to pick up one in really condition for 40 bucks. Still had original motor that runs, but will be replaced. I want to go brushless/ lipo but need something where I won't tear up the transmission. Not looking for crazy speed, just something fun.

Will probably drop a shorty 2s in it. Recommendation for esc/ motor ?

Hobbywing Just Stock ESC and any 21.5 or 17.5 motor should be good.
