AE B/T4 type slipper for my B/T3.
Remove the slipper setup from truck keep parts in order so you can reassemble as needed.
The inner slipper plate remove the lip that holds the slipper pad in place.
Get 1 set of AE B4/T4 slipper pads AE#9603 (they come two in a pack).
Get a AE#9654 87t spur (IF that is the size you use)(AE only offers 81, 84 and 87 tooth spurs)
1. Put inner slipper on truck
2. Then a slipper pad
3. Then spur gear making sure slipper pad is in its placement on gear.
AE manaul states to "press pads into spur gear" have 3 AE trucks and I've never had them stay in the gear as I assembled the slipper!!
4. Second slipper pad
5. Outer slipper plate
6. The rest of the washers/spring/nut in the order you removed them.
NO you do not use screws to mount spur gear, its between the slipper plates not on the outside of the outer plate.
7. Adjust slipper nut as needed.
Much smoother under power and coming out of turns like my Race T4.

As long as I can keep running my T3 this indoor season I will...
We run an indoor carpet course with jumps.
The T3 isn't the bottom of the pile, but the Losi XXX-CR & Kyosho RT5 tend to be in the top 10...
After a season of neglect the diff finally started barking.
Still better than the Losi truck that need it once every couple of weeks.
I'm waiting for AE to release a glimpse of the RC10T5.
Current "off road" carpet setup:
Front:
Red springs/60w with #1 pistons
Lower shock mount full out
Upper shock mount full in
Upper tie rod as long as possible
-0.5 to -1deg of camber
Heavy sway bar
Front camber blocks are reversed & cut so I have about 15-20deg on the king pins
Front ride height 0.5" to 0.625"
Rear:
Green springs/60w with #1 pistons
Lower shock mount in one from full out
Upper shock mount full in
Upper tie rod as short as possible
-2.5 to -3 deg of camber
3-3 RPM rear mounts (would like to try less rear toe some time)
Rear ride height touch higher than front.
Battery full forward
Front bulk head packed full of lead (1oz?)
Green Foams on all four corners (may go to Pinks next)
It has a scary amount of on power steering, & doesn't unsettle badly off power.
