Sorry for the double post. I've already posted this in the racing forum, but I just wanted to ensure as many off-road racers as possible see this post.

Mike's Hobby Shop in Carrollton, TX is hosting a Hurricane Katrina Charity Race Saturday, September 17th.

Come out and join the Katrina relief effort by doing what you love to do. RACE!

Cost is $15 each class
All off-road classes
Proceeds will be donated to the Dallas Red Cross @ Reunion Arena
The track will be a brand new layout for the race

Come out and join us. If you are unable to race, stop by and offer a cash donation as all donations are being accepted. Reunion Arena is in downtown Dallas and is housing 10,000 evacuees. Every little bit will help get these folks back on their feet and living a normal life once again.

Its a shame that they it's on the 17th, the r/c pro series is also having a race that day for charity. I would like to make both.

Looks like the R/C Pro Series race should be great event, too. I'm glad to see someone else doing a benefit race as well.
