Decided to take an easy jump back into some RC fun. Was about 25 years ago when I had a gold RC10 with a stick radio. Looking for fun with a RC10T4.2 RTR, so wondering if anyone has any suggestions on basic purchases and suggested initial upgrades.

The batteries and connectors (Deans/T) have changed...LiPo seems to be one popular option. Any suggestions on a reasonable battery? So many to choose from (a peak charger as well).

Tires seem to have evolved as well. Looking for a few different sets, for loose dirt (offroad) and a set that can handle varied surfaces that may include some minimal street time.

No local shops around to ask questions, so relying on your help and suggestions. Thanks for taking the time!

Am I overlooking anything or are there other necessities to add to my order?
