4wd Sct help
Hey guys,
Local track is switching back to off road so i am selling all my on road gear to get back into off road, need help on selecting and new 4wd SCT, ESC, Motor and servo, basically everything. Track is going to be clay and is 80'x35' probably technical due to space. Looking for suggestions to get back into this class, set max budget of $1200 for SCT. Suggestions are greatly appreciated and thanks for all your help.
Cheers,

For me my electronics would tekin rx8 gen2 with a pro4 motor. for sevro i would look around for something that in between high speed and high torque depending on the weight of the chassis. last but not least the vehicle, i would say something light since its going to be a small track, look at the ae sc4x4, i think its the lightest out of the bunch. I also like team durango desc410v2 or the tenko sct410. this is all up to u on what you wanna run.

On a track that small the desc410v2 is the truck to have with a regular pro4 motor (not the 550 HD, I'd get the 4600kv tekin pro4) with the rx8 gen2 and savox 1258 servo. Its a very light truck so the 166oz from the servo is enough and will be extremely nimble, the tekno and scte are just too heavy for tight tracks like that, they're better suited for 1/8 style tracks, the desc410v2 is amazing on the smaller 1/10 tracks.

For a chassis you have really only 2 options, Losi SCTE or the Tekno SCT410. I run the SCT410 and love it. If youre going on a technical layout its your best choice. Truck has tons of steering without being loose. It really rotates. For the ESC you have a couple good choices. The high end being the Tekin RX8/Pro4 combo in 4000kv, or the Hobbywing SCT Pro/Xerun 4000kv motor.
