Default RC motor question

I just picked up the new ecx Ruckus with the brushless motor and upgraded trans mission with metal gears. I have 2, 3000 mah battery packs and I made a wire harness to connect them in series for a total of 15 volts. I'm tempted to plug it is and run it but I know it will kill the motor eventually. Does anyone know of an upgraded motor that can take 15 volts?

That is way to much voltage. Just keep it to 2s lipo or 8 cell nimh.

The ESC has to be able to handle the voltage as well. If you have the Tazer 45A it appears to only be rated for 3S lipo, or 12.6 volts.

If you do upgrade to a sufficiently rated ESC, use a lower kv motor also rated for the voltage, and be prepared to adjust gearing to keep temperatures reasonable.
