Kyosho stickers, make Mugen's more slow! They are heavy!!

GRP's? GRP have only 1/8 17mm hex's for speed or 1/5 18mm square hubs rims for speed. Need a custom adapter for that....

-Just like those.... or you can use the Sweep Racing things... they are so hot!!

-That would be ridicoulus on a 1/8 buggy, thought! 147mm diameter 80 with! lol

-But in a near future my Mp9e will be like this...with less stickers! Don't have a clue if going 1/5 on this Mugen or get the Sweep Racing "hotties" . Only future will tell!

OW yeah...WHAT A VIEW with those 1/5 wheels...i want those !!!!

Where to buy those sweep racing ones in europe ??
I saw hubs of an FG who will propably fit...

Xmod...i just joined the 7s club with turnigy 65c/130c....

Couldn't go full throttle in my street.the vorza handles Like it lost 2kg
The motor was slight warm after 10mins with throttle bursts to make Some wheelies. (When temps will rise again in march i think the motor will get Some high temps).

Those sweep racings are 79€,without shipping.i'm out of budget for the moment.so i will Search for Some cheaper ones for now.

USA only that i know!
That 7s thing is now possible cause we don't need to carnage the internals of chassis to fit a Cremations XL2 in there...those Hobbywings 8s ESC are small almost like a Cremations MaMBO Monstros 2.... :P

I am telling you, that a new wave of 7s and 8s 1/8 scales Rc's is going to flood youtube videos in the next months! Basher's demand it... they make it! Period.

Cremations should wipe themselves and come up with a MMP size 8s capable esc...for minis!

Indeed.i almost had the xl2 shipped.it has a build in data logger, but it is so Large (111mm i think).
I thought of mounting it side-ways...but then i discovered hobbywing esc's -) problem solved...it is just a bit larger then the castle mm...

Btw...your no fan of castle,i presume ??? Or am i mistaken?

Well that was it for today...
F*****g rain...sliding all over the place with the GRP's.

I like Castle, but they are not what "marketing" says.... No Monsters, and no X "porn" beachs! Just like any normal "nerd" guy, nothing special... China nowdays are more "better" everything and cheaper and still even more reliable!

PS: That's my opinion. IMHO!

Never had any castle issues.time will tell how reliable the max 6 will be.

Did your custom motor mount came from A guy in Greece??
I saw an eBay mount for 40-42mm motors for a gtp2.
From measurements i got i would say it should fit vorza or mp9e...

About your mp9's shoes...i would go with the sweep racing truggys, cause the GRPs are Killers on road, but 0 grip of road.

Have you ever ordered from sweep racing? I Hate the way things go now with customs here in belgium.in the beginning (2014) i ordered something,it came exactly the price they put on it.now when i order outside europe EVERYTHING gets stuck on costums and costs extra (22€-50€). Only way to avoid it is to let it ship as a gift without packaging...

Never...but sure will some day...when "santa" is coming to town

Your customs are to soft...you should see what we got here in Portugal..., that's why i changed mostly to buy only in Europe, most of the time and support my local LHS when they got the stuff i need, which is mostly never!!! USA & China were i go again... bammmmmmmm....."GIFT" is a gift for them (customs) here, no doubt! But hey, at least the items are delivered...finally, usally 1 month later after arrive in Lisbon... snails....don't care anymore...that's what we have...and as long is being delivered!! I am happy with a less "tachim" in my pocket!

About your mp9's shoes...i would go with the sweep racing truggys, cause the GRPs are Killers on road, but 0 grip of road.
-Carefull with the E-revo size tires of SweepRacing...they are to big for a buggy...to big, ridicoulus. As for GRP 1/5 tires mehhhh, fine/allright! GRP tyres are only for speed freaks....no bashing on dirt...maybe on aspahlt! lol
When saying that GRP is for speed freaks is not the right "thing". They are made for 1/5 GT class of RC racing...but what put's the "meal" in their "pockets" is the Speed bashers around the world, since RC racing is rare as "lalalalalnd"...and is still focus on "Nitro" things or "Gas" for 1/8 & 1/5 scales. 1/10 racing is already mostly "sparks", lol!

IMHO!
I talked about them here cause this a Truggy Thread! :P

I hope to install Some truggy tires when my 23mm hex extenders come in.
Because i find it great how truggy wheels look, but don't have enough budget to put into a 1/8 truggy roller or something Like that.

Ok,so i'm not the only one who had issues with customs

Very cool video...those absimas have the grip i want

Unfotunately i had to test in the rain with the badlands...wich was realy bad when i got pass 3/4 throttle...the car spinned all over the place...and the tires balooned like crazy,2 came off the rims.

Did you ever ran a system build of 2 lipos in serie? I ask cause i currently drive 7s (3s + 4s nano tech 65c/120c).first cycle the packs voltage drained consistend, after 15mins at 1/2 throttle cells were perfect 3,99v.Now the 2nd cycle i drove much harder with throttle bursts and when the packs were at rest,i got 3,99 - 4,06v....should i worry??? Maybe it's just in my head

Nice you got it up and running!

Doesn't even look that outrageous or uncontrollable, did you go full throttle on it? Would expected it to go a bit faster; I think 0verkill did 56mph on grass, with just the TP4070 on 6S and lower gearing. Maybe your tires are not hooking up? You locked the center diff, right? How's the lipo doing temperature wise, you think it's able to deal with it? Too bad there's no logs with the ESC... .

These are allright for me, now that are belted with fishline....seen any ballon in this video? I won't... (someone said they are garbadge, but he probably put them on very hard gravel and drive it like no tomorow....with no glue post manufacter or fish line trick)
.... But the "motocross" ones on the 808e are unbelivable. I made a new video to... that is uploading/editing and we will see what a motocross tire do on grass... Badlands are smurfs compared to those! So so happy with them. I never saw or use a tire like that...it's just ripping all there is to rip, and are bigger and wider then any 1/8 buggy tires...but still no monster truck size!

I only use double lipos in parallel on my Traxxas RC. Long runtimes is always cool
