It can be only one of those:

-XL2's ...
-TORO 200's ...
-Hobbywing new 8s that is coming soon...

Initial thougths was to use an airplane ESC but they are not made to handle peak amp's and do not have brakes like a car esc...and using mechanical brakes was out of the question. So it can be only one of those...cause MGM ESC's are to expensive are are still like Castle...someday they will go out for no aparent reason! Alien Custom esc's are problematic in cogging...so go back to the board of those 3.

IMHO.

Hobbywing is the winner...but is still not released yet...mainly because it's a small foot print ESC according to marketing
And if you are thinking how the hell is is going to fit a Toro 200's in there...well on "cardboard" it worked.
I know practice is another thing...but cardboard is the final stage of project before the real thing comes up! Actual same size!

So i had to choose now a charger capable of charging 7s lipos.
I need a separated power source and a charger.

I bought a second hand pc server power source and made it to RC I did a search and this is one of the most powerfull power source and it is really simple to mod. She's 1kw and 100A on DC 12V.

-I heat shrink with larger shrink to be safer!

Now i am ready for those 7s lipos!

The time has come...

-Question now is up or down? I think i will rather use it down cause of that LCG thing and so on... (stability & handlig is more important then power, at least on my rc book), being to use one lipo at a time rather then 2 in parallel.

Holy "mother" motor is to big, way to big! lol

-Yes! Couldn't be any other way!

that's crazy man !!
-Thanks!

-Lol, she's already steel! And rear clip and extra hole on motor mount is enough even for a 1kg motor!

i can't wait to see this moving !!
-Me to!

take care of those front arms, I broke mine ( buggy mbx7r eco ) in no time
-Thanks! I will take note and the next thing to buy is TBone bumpers!

Another problem faced.... receiver box hit's/rubbs motor shaft!
Dam!

-See?

-Get out the rx box and servo attached. Mod it...and...

-Done! Like a glove.

-Rx box is screwed into the plastic side guards.

-See that extra hole on the motor mount?

Basher's!
