what could make a Tekin RX8 gen1 running a LRP X12L motor start cogging under load when it ran fine last time I ran it ?

musta been the motor put in another one and was fine but that still boggles me . never had an issue with it or over heeting or anything...

Sounds like either the sensor wire was loose and you fixed it when you replaced the motor or the sensors inside the motor were causing your problem. You can plug the sensor cable in the old motor and rotate it and watch the lights on the speedo to see if they blink. That would tell you right there.
