Hi,

according to the new price list, there are only 3 parts specific for the XB8E: The chassis, the side guards and the body (obviously the body from the teaser image).

With that, there is no need for a conversion kit: Buy these parts + the "new" XB8E motor holder + the rest of the XB9E-parts and that's your kit.

Greetings
Sven

So at least there will be an electric specific chassis... that's better than I imagined.

What are the pros n cons everybody has found with their converted xb8e so far? How does it stack against the mp9e?

I find my xb8e is more nimble then the mp9e and has more corner speed. The mp9e is a little calmer. I had both and still have the xray.

Never ! Nobody that drops $900 on a buggy will ever admit something else that costs less is equal or better ...

The new motor mount is basically the same, it's just 1mm taller so you can use different spurs.

I imagine the chassis is the same except with different holes for the battery tray.

Malin's been running this since the NEO race in April and it's been performing just as good as the nitro version…..so no complaints at all

And with a 4S 4600mAh battery it's close to the same weight as the XB8 as well
Makes it a lot easier to share setups between the two.

First batch of XB8E's are shipping now

We need a definate list of parts that are different from the XB8.

Crown gears and input gears say they are different 40 and 46, 12 and 14 but the pic for the inputs on 8e show 12 teeth.

I've got 2 full kits for the xb8 (one is electric). I'd like to be able to buy the chassis and that's it. I guess I can use the xb8 stuff and get the newer xb8e stuff as the other wears out.
