It's a very strait forward kit, just get yourself some extra diff shims and follow the diff guide on the durango site. As for oils, rake a look at the latest set up on petit rc by Dino, he knows what he's doing and that set up is dialed on many surfaces with minor tweaks if needed. I think it's 7k and 3k for diff oil, and 42.5wt and 27.5wt losi shock oil if I remember right.

Personally I would skip over durango, and rather go for either the zx5 fs2, or d413. The durangos I have seen appeared very fragile, and rather odd (14mm hexes as an example)

Not that this matters to everyone, but they also seem to have the lowest resale value of any brand I have ever seen! I see these great big car and parts lots going for next to nothing, and ⅛ cars going for hundreds less than other brands.

The DEX410v4 build isn't hard, I have a detailed build of mine here http://durangofansite.com/main.php?v...ld&buildpage=1
I go through the steps with links to useful information for different parts of the build.

Ekt is da man with that site. It's got everything you need to know about the build, you could build one in your sleep without even seeing a kit in person :P I can first hand say they're tanks, I'm not exactly easy on mine and after over 2 months of racing I finally broke it, but I also did a violent tumble for about 40 feet down the strait away, nothing would of survived that big of a hit. Words cannot describe it. It's also fast. I'm no super start but have ran pretty high in the A main with much better drivers behind me, I give Dino all credit for his awesome set up.

well, looking thought that build, this buggy appears to be pretty well designed. What was changed from the earlier versions ?

The 2-way slipper, universal joint center drive shafts and different caster blocks are some of the biggest changes. The kit page shows the majority of the new features http://www.team-durango.com/race-cars/dex410v4/
