Default Tekin T8 Bearing Q.

I cooked the endbell bearing in my Gen 1 T8 today. Searching replacements, Tekin sells an $18 kit (for two bearings) here: http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...-Bearing-Set-2

A little pricey for two bearings... Jeez!

The bearing I need is 5 x 11 x 5 in size. I have a bearing in my toolbox which is 5mm (inner diameter) x 11mm (outer diameter) x 4mm (width of bearing)

Do you guys think I can run it? Or should I quit being a cheap ass, and cough up the $20?

they are great bearings but you do not have to spend that much.
