b4.2 gear diff

Default b4.2 gear diff

I recently put a gear diff in my b4.2 and now it wants to dart to the right when I full thottle it anybody have an idea what I did wrong

What diff oil did you use? Did you fill it up properly? It could be that there isn't enough fluid or the fluid is too thin. Without enough fluid there isn't much diff effect, and power will be delivered to one side only.

Are the diff outdrive bearings OK? Usually bearings is the first thing I check when I have a car pulling to one side. But in your case I would typically lean toward the fluid.

I used 5k in it and the bearings r fine and I did fill it up correctly

Try this:

Pick up the car. Hold one rear wheel while the other is allowed to spin freely. Blip the throttle a few times. Note how much force you feel being applied to the wheel you are holding. Now, hold the other wheel and see if the force is equal on the other side.

If you are feeling very little force being applied to either wheel, something is wrong with your diff. If the sides are uneven, I would point toward the bearings.

Did you check the wheele bbs or maybe the shims in the diff

I broke it apart and put my ball diff back in and one of the output bearing is a lil grindy and the other is smooth as silk so I think it could b the bearing so ill try it again after the 2 big races but ill try to replace that bearing before then
