Default Kyosho Half 8 Mini Inferno questions

I just have a few questions about this little car. But first a little background so you'll see kinda why I'm asking.

We have a good size club where I am. The electric numbers are starting to go downhill a little bit but we are trying to make he class grow again. Having these little cars go around our track would be kinda cool. But the big thing is our special winter event. We do a car show that's called the World of Wheels. Car makes and bike builders from all over the western Canada and Mid west and North western US. We put a small electric track in the middle of this car show and run almost non-stop through the whole weekend.

I want to run the thing completley stock (except batteries) for Saturday and then Saturday night, just deck it out. I want to know if it's a seperate ESC and reciever or if it's the same unit in one. What are some of the option pieces for it to date? How easy is it to work on? How good is the parts availability? My shop doesn't carry that thing right now but with the amount of guys that want them, they will if they can get the parts.

Hey Scott, Dustin from MH here. The speed control/ reciever is all in one (like the Mini-t) so if you were to go to brushless you would have to put in seperate reciever and esc and servo. As for hop-ups for the thing, there endless things in alum. such as shock towers, steering knuckles, hub carriers, hinge pin braces, arms, steering plate, steering post top plate. Things in woven carbon fibre like shock towers, steering post top plate and others. They are fairly easy to work on from what one of the guys that has one here. As for part availability, i don't know how hard it is to get something. Also check out this site www.halfeight.com this site is dedicated to the half 8 and you can pretty much find out what ever you want to on that site. Also if you are looking for the car, I think Raceway has some coming in this week I hope. But for surely by next week. Plus they got the Mamba package and the Golden Horizons brushless motor. They could probably order any hop up you would like (some companies she might not be able to get but most she can).
