Default funny hobbyking experience

Hi,

this is what I ordered (EU warehouse) 2 days ago: two turnigy lipos (119$ including shipping)

and here is what I got in my parcel this morning:

I laughed a lot

of course they were the 2 last lipos in stock and I needed them to race this week end

so now I hope the funny part is over and that I'll get what I bought

I have to say it's the very 1st time it happened in 9 orders I made, but man these metal sticks (I don't even know what it is) must be worth 3$

Hehe, obviously they needed to make sure those rods were safe, because I don't what was going through their head as they packaged that

well, error is human I guess.. it's the most funny mistake I've seen in an order since I began rc

one time (many years ago) I got a new nitro motor "for free" in a parcel (RB X12) so I contacted the company and they said I can just keep it ...

the person waiting for his rods can contact me if he's reading, I'd be glad to have my lipos back

problem sorted (at least it looks so, they are sending the items back to me)

used HK "live chat" and the guy helping was super nice so thanks hobbyking!

ok.. it would have been even cooler to have the good items to begin with but everybody can do a mistake

Its actually refreshing to see someone admit to having humility the way you do. Most would have came on here and posted a two paragraph rant about how Hobbyking is horrible and everyone should steer clear of them. Doing business with places that have huge amounts of mail order merchandise people need to remember that mistakes are made. Errors happen. I always give the shipper some benefit of doubt unless they admit theyre perfect. I ordered two NiMH batteries a few years ago and liked them for the quality of price, something like $25 each. About two weeks later I ordered 2 more, and the package I received was empty. I contacted the seller and theyre response was "No we sent out your package and will not be refunding or reshipping your items." I even sent pics of the flat, unopened envelope. Still nothing. At that point I was done.

so true!

IMO people should share positive experiences more often, being a customer or in general

it's like when you watch the news.. how could you possibly feel good when watching the news, seriously? it's like being stuck in a horror movie and discover all the ways humans can die..

well, I'll keep you guys informed about my order and let's hope a happy ending

Everyone gets flawed orders. Ive had one from Amain. Even the "Almighty Amain" makes mistakes. May have gotten the batteries, but lost his ass on import taxes.

Better yet your local hobby shop. I've never went home from the LHS and found out I had an empty box. Oh wait, that's another problem...
