I am running the same motor and speedo. I run 27 /76 and 35 degrees of timing. You can go up one tooth and down a tooth depending on the track.

I'm running a 19/84 on my truck with an 8.5T and it is perfect for my track; however, my motor is getting really hot after 5-6 min of run. I really hate to regear, has anyone used the motor fans? If so do they work?

are you running boost.......how about your motor end bell timing being too high........pinion/spur mesh too tight.

Got a shapeways 3d printed one for a buddy, no change but added fan, people at the track he races at are seeing around 20 degrees drop in temp. no other change.

I have been using the 81 spur it came with and have a 19t pinion on my 7.5t so since u are sayin run 19t for a 84t spur then i should be able to bump up to a 21 atleast on my 7.5t am i correct......this is hard for me to really change this because i have been fighting for tq and plus i won 2 races with it already im jus tryin to get a little bit more speed out of it

The T5 comes with an 84. Typically with a 7.5 I run a 19. You are not correct on changing the gearing. Using a smaller spur gear is the same as a larger pinion. To get the same final drive ratio as 84/19 you have to have 81/18. With 48 pitch gears 3 teeth on the spur equals 1 tooth on the pinion.

No boost or timing, and the mesh is good.

i have bought a low profile savox sc-1251mg fot my t5m and it seems that is doesn't fit on the servo mount. The exit of the cable is blocking the blue aluminium brace. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Or am i doing something wrong?

Think some people are cutting the stress boot off the of the wire, this should let you get the wire closer to the servo so you can mount. Also, some are dremeling the mount to give some more clearance.
