Theres a offroad carpet track opening in my area so when I built the kit I used 45w front, 40w rear for oil and lowered ride height other than that it was kit setup. After driving it yesterday back to back with my b5m that's setup for dirt I'm wondering if I like the oil I chose. I know the setups will be hard to come by for a while but if anyone plans to run on carpet please post setups that do or don't work.

The 5mm hexes are to be ran with the +4mm C block.

Makes perfect sense for the buggy...not so much for the truck. Hopefully someone from AE can explain how using the 5mm hexes with the truck and +4mm C mount is better. That means it makes the rear end a total of 3mm narrower compared to stock.

The correct ones are actually in stock at tower.

Thanks for the info Matt. I managed to grab both of the above at Tower this afternoon. Now I need to rack down some white wheels.

I was running the xfactory x-60cf, but I prefer the options that are available for the AE 5 series cars.

I always have a stadium truck in my racing stables. It was the class I started with back in 94 with the Losi XXT.

You located the front clamping axle somewhere? It's the only part I've yet to track down in stock anywhere. You need those clamping axles in order to run those front hexes.

HRP had ALL of the T5M parts early part last week. I've got the front axles but hating that I didn't read the setup sheets completely which offset clamps being used in the front and rear. AMain doesn't even have the parts even registered within their website
