Get the Avid or Schelle and be done with it.

In my opinion, AE's slippers are about as useful as their ball cups used to be.

The Associated slipper pads leave a lot to be desired. Slap RCShox Garodiscs on and be happy

Never had one issue with the v2 with vented plates and the hi torq pads. Set it and forget for me.

I love the V2 vented with AE pads, no issues.

In addition to the Triad/Nova's flawless function, installation is a breeze - no more having to fiddle with octagonal slipper pads, that keep falling out of the spur gear!

Did anyone find a "proper" T5M body ready to ship yet...? I would like to get one to the painter...

There isn't one yet besides the bulldog.

My T5 finnisher is on it's way to me right now. So they'll be available really soon!

Default AL Hexes

Anyone know what the "correct" hexes will be for the truck?

I see the 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 8.5mm listed in the manual. Anyone also know if they correct ones are in stock anywhere?

Thanks

8.5mm are the correct ones in the rear. 4 and 5 mm are possibly tuning options when using the separate front axles, i.e. not the kit one-piece steel axles.

Why they even bother with the one piece front axle still mesmerizes me. Such a bad design.....

Keeps the cost of the kit down and will eventually be going into rtr's as well.
