It's a 1 piece alum shaft that uses smaller bearings. That way it's the same shaft for the 3 and 4 gear tranny. There's also a V2 tranny case that goes along with it. All slippers that fit the current shaft will fit the new one.

As they left out some suspension screws in the B5 series, I guess everything counts in large amounts. They had to include the aluminum rear ballstud mount in order not to risk customers complaining about a fragile truck, leaving out the wheels must be their way to keep the price clearly under USD 300.-

if the former, I'd be curious on your setups.
Two tracks I have raced at for a few years now , medium bite clay mix surface and a loamy sandy type track.

Both tracks I run green springs all four corners, 1.6 flat all around, 32.5 front 27.5 rear. Stock shock locations. Proper tire selection as always is key.

Yes, the same as T4.1 or T4.2, AE7852/7853 or your JConcepts/DE Racing or whatever hex wheels of choice for the T4.x.

For the time in between the release do you think you could take the B5 ball studs and cups and mount onto a t4.2 for added durability and ball cups popping?

Hey, I need some advice, I want to race the jbrl electric series and be competitive, now I'm not a very good driver so the only way I could do that is to do the rookie class, I'm currently racing a 4wd short course, but jbrl is only doing a pro 4 class no sportsman 4wd so I'm thinking about running the b5m in rookie, or a b5 m I personally like stadium trucks better but everyone has been saying since they run any 2wd stock vehicle in rookie the only way to be competitive is with a buggy, are buggys really that much faster then stadium trucks? What do you think??

To be totally honest with you, if you are trying to race in the rookie class it is NOT about what is the fastest car, but rather what are you the most comfortable with and going to be able to keep on the wheels. Because I'm the rookie class, the one who wrecks the least wins the race not the one with the fastest car.

But to answer your generic question, yes a buggy is going to be faster than a stadium truck

Smaller, lighter, more aerodynamic and have always been a much bigger class than ST.

Truck will be more forgiving. And close to buggy in racing style.

if the track gets rough, truck will handle it better.

Out here at least was surprised that stadium truck went away, though I know it was because of SCT but they definitley worked better on the 1/8 track.

Heck, kind of wish the whole J82 thing had taken off.
