Out of curiosity I checked the sizes of Titanium turnbuckle kit for the RC10GT (I have one in storage in my garage with Lunsford Titaniums). Well the "FT Blue Titanium Turnbuckle Kit, RC10GT/T2/T3, 2 5/8"", "Part#1280" is nearly identical. 2.625" vs 2.65". That is only 1/32 of an inch shorter.

May not be cheaper but may be an option, especially if you have one laying around. Yeah for me I guess, now if the truck would ever arrive.

It's the same the same size. An old T2/T3/GT kit will fit perfectly!

My LHS has my name on one of these when they come in. If I'm pretty happy with a 13.5 in my B5M, do you guys think I should go with the same in the stadium truck or should I give it a little more motor for a similar feel?

It makes sense, 2 5/8" is 66.675mm. Probably just rounded up the measurement to 67mm and called it good. Just glad I kept my RC10GT, I think the Lunsford turnbuckles I have on it are heavy duty as well.

I also run a 13.5 in a my b5 but I plan to go 10.5 in the T5M. I tried the motor in an RT5 the other day and it does have a similar feel. Hope this helps

Got to watch Hartson take some laps in his T5m today at OCRC. Looks good! Can't wait for preorders to start rolling out.

Thanks. I run a 10.5 in my 4WD buggy which has a somewhat draggy drive-train, and it feels pretty decent running back to back with my B5M. The 4WD is faster but I have the throttle end points backed down on both of them to where they aren't drastically different.

I don't know how common it is to try matching the throttle feel between different race classes but it seems to help me when I switch from 2WD to 4WD and back.

I wonder if the T5M will be shipping out soon. I really want that stadium truck.

Just FYI, the 1408 turnbuckles listed in the kit are going for a little over 7 bucks a pair shipped on eBay. Just bought 3 sets for 21.60. Way cheaper than a main or from associated.

Tanner Denney's T5M

Interesting to see the use of B5m front axles..
