OK... lets see if I can explain it a little bit better...

Notice the shorter arm on the right and the C mount sits in front of it right.... well ...maybe ( and it's a big MAYBE ) they added the 4mm to the C mount to remove the normal gap.... best guess

As seen here:

I used an alloy spacer, and yes, you can adjust the wheel base.

I know you guys are (sorta?) kidding, but how likely do you think it is that they'd come out with a lightweight chassis version? I can't quite tell if the T5M chassis is already fairly milled or not.

I have enough money next month to either buy a B5M lite, or a T5M. I'd rather buy my first ST (already got a spare set of electronics for it), but if it's likely they are likely to change the chassis, etc., I'd rather buy the B5M lite and play with that for a while.

I'm pretty new to the hobby, so don't know the history of AE putting out various Factory versions or whatever every year...

I can weigh my "T5M", it shares now 100% of it's build with a true T5M.

However, I won't pull my electronics to do it. I would just assume the T5M is much much heavier.

Default The heavy pig

You would have to think that the T5M is going to be one heavy ass pig of a truck since the B5m isn't really a paperweight in stock form

Fully loaded T5m... best guess 1800grams plus or minus 30grams

I'm thinking that 13.5 is going to be the most popular class for this truck, correct?
that being the case would a slipper eliminator be ok for 13.5?

That's a lot of heavy speculation. I would assume ST will take over what SCT has been doing, which is 17.5 and modified.

I can not fathom any situation beyond smooth carpet where a slipper eliminator is actually "standable". On dirt, the drivetrain gets shocked a lot with bumps and landings, and it's very hard on the transmission. I'd rather have a slipper with cut gears, than an eliminator with regular gears.
