So question there is a lot of talk about using b6 to make a t6 and taking a t5 and put a b6 rear setup in it...what is the better option money aside, I need to make a decision soon because I got a race in 3 weeks and need to make a decide on a route I'm going to build

Money aside B6 to T6 is the best option. Money dependent T5 with B6 laydown and new rear tower will be cheaper. Converting the B6 gives you all the benefits of the updated B6 front steering, caster blocks, axel height adjustment, adjustable Ackerman plates, optional chassis weights for best balance and with some modification using the B6 front sway bar kit.

Default Gearing

I'm searching for the best gearing for a Reedy M3 8.0, and a Hobbywing V10 G2 10.5 with a Reedy 510r speedo and Tekin RS on the T5M. It's for a medium/large clay track, medium/ high traction.

Do you know anyone else that makes the towers other than vision racing they're on back order right now

Not that I am aware of. May want to shoot them an email and see when the next batch will be available.

Start with 22/78 for the 10.5 and 20/84 for the 8.0, that's what the manual recommends

Hello all, my track is talking about starting a 17.5 stadium truck class. I have a spare B5M and I know it shares a lot of parts with the T5M. I'd need it to be within the ROAR specs once completed.

I've looked around and have seen where it looks possible, but I can't find the details. Is there a conversion kit and/or write up on the process?

Chassis, body mounts, arms, front shocks, front axles, rear hexes, turnbuckles... it really starts to get cost prohibitive. But I have an old chassis if you give it a go. $25 shipped.

You forgot shock towers, chassis cradle. cvd's, the rear shocks are longer to,

its not worth converting, they really dont share that much in the grand scheme. All the expensive stuff like chassis, shocks, cvds, are all different. Its just cheap stuff like hubs and knuckles that are the same, you would be better off selling the b5m and buying a t5m roller,

The B6 steering block is a little wider than the T5 steering block so you need to make a spacer to make up the length to use the T5 axle, so you need to basically extend the length of the T5 axle with the spacer to make it long enough.
I put the B6 Front steering/caster block and rear axle carriers on the T5.
I race on astroturf so being able to raise the axle height to keep the arms straighter when lowering the ride height is a big advantage.
I raced it the last two weeks and it worked great

Is anyone out there making a T6 Chassis? I have a B6 with all of the other stuff converted except the Chassis! I think that the extra 10mm or so would make a big difference!
