I bought the aluminum hubs and want to try some different pistons since mine has a ton of pack. Is it normal to run lots of pack in a t5m? I love the looks of these trucks and for the first time that I can ever remember I ran 2 heats w/out a crash(I did end up stuck front end against the pipes but that was it). The only bad thing that happened on Sunday was that some how I cracked my new body, It has my personal best paint job to date. So some drywall tape and shoe goo will have to fix that.
Great truck/class and thanks for the help guys, I really liked the 27Gram (I think not the 40 something) brass weight under the shorty. I've never been so consistent before.

I do want to try 3x1.4 and a few springs also.
Ps. We talked there I had the black n gold truck
Bumps Stadium Truck Thread?
Are you guys running white truck springs front and rear?
What wt. oil?
It was my 1st time at bumps with the truck I was pushing and loose.
I ran a broke in set of tires I borrowed from Troy so they were not the issue.

Butch, Running blue buggy fronts and white rears. When it was warm I was at 37.5 front and 32.5 rear. Will likely drop if it stays cold
Want to try silver fronts I actually have just a touch too much steering. Also running battery a few mills from max front.
I'd tell you both to have a look, but I won't be there till 12/11. 6th n 7th are possible practice also

You forgot about the spring tension preventing the screw from tightening when installed correctly. If it is installed incorrectly the spring tension and the rotation will cause the bolt to loosen up.

Thanks for your shock set up man, I moved my shocks around yesterday at critters and may have found my magic set up. I still want to try some things but I think I'm getting close to a real easy to drive and consistent set up. I was really loving this truck on Wednesday. If I know what I know now I would of done much better last time at bumps. My truck had a very aggressive set up on it and it was a handful to drive fast for me.

Can someone help me with a parts list to convert the truck to a 3 gear transmission?

I don't even run the gear cover anymore. Never had an issue with it off.
