On par,not on par. It doesn't matter as long as your having fun. I am a career mid pack racer. I used to get frustrated because I let competition get to me always trying to get a Amain win. Now I just show up to drive and set a goal to minimize mistakes. I have had a few nights now with no mistakes in the mains. That is winning to me.

That's what I like about this hobby, you have fun no matter what until you get too serious, if you see me at coyote say hi whenever I have the gold b5m and maroon, silver, red, and white t4

would a t5 sell? the 22t was not a big hit, as well as the RT6 either. Im not sure if it would do enough for the ST class to bring it back to where it was. It would certainly be cool if they did, and might even make a nice car to mess around with off the track.

We always have a ST class at the 2 local tracks I run at. We run super stock 13.5 stadium which seems to be competitive and steady for the past 5 months. I guess it helps when the track owner promotes stadium and it seems to be one of his favorite classes. I ran a mod stadium when they started the super stock and got rid of it figuring it wouldn't last, but it has. I would hate to get a truck and watch the class deminish though. Guess I should have never sold my T4.2:cry:

well the RT6 is about $500. The Ae would be close to half that. I would buy one. We have a good ST class here. I bought a used 22T to race and I just hate it. Its sitting on a shelf. I want a T5.

RC10T5 may get be to get back into having RC cars once again. I'll most likely order it when it's available.

The problem with ST or any secondary class is that it doesn't offer anything different from the main stream class (2wd buggy). The bodies, tires, and foams cost more and the racing is mostly the same.

This is an example of how to change it's popularity. The last time ST was truly popular at my track, it was a 10.5 spec class (pre-lipo) with a 10- minute main, therefore offering something different from the other entrenched classes.

I have been suggesting a change to the traditional race program (2-3Q's, 1 main), instead, going to 1-2Q's and double mains on points, like motocross. Maybe that is something that could be applied selectively to a class or two as a test.

Does anyone think this will come out in a year or less?

It was good until I broke it. Not the trucks fault, all mine. I forgot to put the screws that secure the hinge pin at the caster block and after about 20 laps it backed out and broke an arm. There wasn't a class that night so I didn't bother trying to fix it. I just forgot that screw....I was pretty happy with it though. Can't wait until next time, should be mid June when I run next. I will definitely remember that screw. :)
