Hi, I was looking about getting into stadium trucks but i was just wondering if the anyone knows whether there is going to be a rear edition of the T5. Our Track is loose and no one uses the B5m and they all choose to use the b5 rear. So i'm not sure whether to just get a t5m and see how it handles on loose tracks or wait it out and hope AE makes a rear motor version.

no rear, get the mid and use a square pack, it will have more traction then you'd think.

Hi, i'm new to ST and i have ordered a T5M. Our tracks are both Astro and with my Yz-2 i use Schumacher stagger tires in the front and Schumacher mini spikes on the rear.
There are not a lot of people driving ST in the Netherlands and ST tires are hard to get.
Which tires do you recommend for Astro? Should i also use the same tires as on my buggy (truck version)?.

My local track is outdoor medium grip, and mid motors thrive, just need to know how to set them up, and how to drive them.

Kody has said a rear motor T5 will not be coming.

You should be a pioneer and start racing a B5M. Its better in any conditions, just gotta tune for it.

Default X car esc

Hi, I have this exact combo, and its brand new never used, will I be able to just install this and start driving it? I don't have the program card for it yet, do you know the exact card I need to run this X car esc? and do you know what are the factory settings on the ESC as it came from the factory? thanks for any input.

Search HK for "USB X-Car" and you will see the programmer. The Windows installer (it's Hobbywing) is under the files tab.

You can just plug it in and use it, but I prefer the latest firmware. There does seem to be a bug with the latest firmware related to brake delay. To overcome this, use the USB programmer to set the reverse to 100% and then disable reverse (forward, brake only).

I will check on the default settings tonight.

One of our more prolific posters recommended 84/19 for my Reedy Mach 2 8.0 and I've been very happy with his recommendation. After a 7 minute main my motor was under 140 and I had both snap and speed.

I wouldn't say prolific!

However, the 8.0 is a REALLY fun motor, isn't it?

Yes, the 8.0 has some pop but its mellow too. Hard to explain. Its a lot of motor for me but the fact that it has a smooth linear powerband makes it usable.
