Exactly I ran my current limiter on my rx8 at 30 and didn't have it geared wild there is no way to calculate how many mah per minute someone will use all the jumps on the track I was on has landings no flat Landers I drive day but also smooth and cautious you cannot take all those things into account because everyone drives different

I ran a 20 minute main with the nitro truggys and did a courtesy pit every at the 10 minute mark. I was running an MBX6T with a Mamba Monster 2200 and a CRC 4s 5000mah. When I finished the race I put ~4200mah back in the pack. I was very light on the trigger and the track was very technical without a lot of straights. After the track was rebuilt it was a "fast" track and I could not get 15 minutes on the truck with the same setup.

+1 track layout/flow makes a HUGE difference as well as drive style.

I think 6s 4000mah @ 1300kv will run longer then 4s 6000mah @ 2000kv, still probably a ways off from 30 minutes however. These battery options should be similar in size/weight as well.

if runtime scales with battery technology like we have seen from nicad to nimh to lipo, then in 10 years lets hope we will be running for an hour between battery swaps haha.

Are you saying that in 20 minutes you only used 800mah ?

With my Losi 2.0 running a Tekin RX8 w/ 1550kv motor on 5S 5000mah I can get 18 minutes before having to do a battery swap. My pit man could do a stop in 15 to 18 seconds. That's with the body velcroed on and the battery velcroed in.

Just got a Tekno that has an RX8 w/ 1700kv motor that I will be running on 4S 5000mah. I'm hoping to be able to get 20 minutes out of this set up.

if you have the occasion also try 1400kv in 5S, this is the setup that was the most efficient in my case
