Hoping someone can answer a question for me. I built this truck before the kit was released by just ordering the parts. I keep having as issue with the driveshaft popping out, usually after a jump and always when I'm leading the race. One side looks like it's in to far while the other is right on the edge. Anyone had this issue? I'm sure I've put something in wrong and hope it's an easy fix. Thanks.

limit the droop in your rear shocks..start with 4mm spacers..also try the2nd hole from the outside on the arms

Thanks. Are the drive shafts not supposed to be even though? Or at least close? Mine are very different.

Hi guys,
New to the Pro-2 SC thread here...

I ordered the Following ( including tires ) :

PRO-2 Front Aluminum Sway Bar
PRO-2 Aluminum Steering Rack
Pro-Line Carbon Fiber Battery Brace (-8mm)
PRO-2 Short Course Indoor Chassis (-8mm)
PRO-2 Carbon Fiber Front Shock Tower Brace
PRO-2 Carbon Fiber Rear Shock Tower Brace
PRO-2 Carbon Fiber Transponder Mount
MIP Super Ball Diff Kit
Prime SC 2.2"/3.0" MC (Clay) Tires x 2
Prime SC 2.2"/3.0" M4 (Super Soft) Tires x 2
Electron SC 2.2"/3.0" MC (Clay) Tires x 2
Electron SC 2.2"/3.0" M4 (Super Soft) Tires x 2
ION SC 2.2"/3.0" MC (Clay) Tires x 2
ION SC 2.2"/3.0" M4 (Super Soft) Tires x 2
F-11 2.2"/3.0" White Wheels x 6
( Tires / Wheels in pairs of 2 )

I look forward to getting my truck, the only thing i have not ordered yet would be the Pro-Spec shocks... but i feel like i may try to make the powerstrokes work... if i cant get them to work, ill run the Pro-Spec shocks...

Any tips for the build?

Thanks!
- Dallas

I believe this was an issue with the early production drive shafts.

Well mine are a few years old so that's probably the issue then. Guess I will order some new ones and hope for the best. Thanks again

The SC might be 4" longer but that is mostly due to the bumpers. The chassis is on 1.3" longer. They *might* be interchangeable but the SC chassis is thinner and has a lot more material machined away for lightness.

Got all the options on mine now apart from the transponder mount.
Had to use a traxxas steering rack as I couldn't get the proline one from my hobby shop.
Swapped the speed passion 10.5 which sucked with a reedy sonic 8 turn and the car seems to go better with the extra horse power. When funds allow I will ditch the speed passion speedy as well.

What gearing is everyone running? I'm running the stock 86 tooth spur and a 20 tooth pinion. Track is fairly large. I do practice at a small bmx track where it goes extremely well when swept.
Once I sort out what tyres work at the track it will be a weapon.
Blockades work when it's swept but generally still a bit loose.

Curious about spur gears. Will associated spurs and pads fit up? I can't get the standard slipper pads in Australia

I put a Associated spur on my Proline Transmission with associated slipper pads.

I remember it not being a drop-in - some tweaking was required but it's been a while...

I found this was already answered a while back in this thread.

I know a pro who is sponsored by Proline and he had a mid-motored Pro2 at the track today. I'm happy w/my SC6 but the second the MM version comes out I'm getting one for my kid. It looked pretty nice.

Agreed, it's an awesome truck. I'm super happy with mine. Last week I TQd and won. This week I was happy to take a second place to a long time Proline Teammate.
