I tried but I found it gave too little pack, even with the suggested smallest holes pistons (2C I think). Don't get me wrong, it works fine as it is, but I was looking for a setup that doesn't bottom out on 15cm jumps.

No I didn't plug the hole as I don't really know how to do it on a teflon piston, the glue just doesn't stick. I had old Option House red 1 hole pistons lying there so I just used them.

I use Permabond TA4610, it can glue Teflon with out a harsh primer. I use it to glue pieces I am machining to each other (Delrin and PTFE at times). It can fill up to 1mm gaps, and has little particles to help fill gaps.

I use the HG shocks, they are very smooth but I find that they give too little pack at the back, so i used an old Option House 1 hole red piston with a slightly bigger hole and now the damping is really good and balanced.
Thanks, I took the shock off, checked the movement, and sure enough the dogbone was pushing into the diff out drive, the spring was of no help, so I took it out (pen spring, shortened). Then I took the hingepin out and inspected that as well.

Afterwards, removed the wheel, loosend the Fricton / wheel hub and placed the wheel back on, tightened the nut, and then the allen screw for the Wheel Hub. Now its a lot better.

I couldn't wait for the Turbo Scopion any longer, so my regular Scorpion is being upgraded to Turbo status. So far I've changed the rear wing mount to the kyosho molded one, Roll bars with light buckets, Pargu 10+mm aluminum long chassis, and rear axle hex for 2.2 wheels. I already had the Kyosho HG shock set with HG towers. All I really need now is the new wider front suspension bar, body, and top roll bar plate. The best upgrade so far is the 10+mm longer chassis. Is feels so stable now that its almost like a modern buggy handling. Cant wait to try the wider front end when it finally becomes available.

I'm hoping for a Turbo Optima myself. It will be nice to have parts for my gold shocks too.

id like to see a turbo optima myself. as well as a optima mid (turbo, SE etc..) and a ultima from kyosho. however, it seems as if kyosho has been teasing us (me?) with a turbo scorpion for a year now

Just the motor so far. Have a hobbywing combo. This kyosho motor is so much nicer than the hobbywing. So much!
