I love Truggies!!!! I've only owned/driven two so far. RC8Te and 8ight-T 2.0. Of those two, I prefer the Losi by a wide margin.

I have a dex408t and like it a lot, but the lack of product support is no good.
I am buying an 8ight t 3.0 to convert soon

I have had (all electric conversions) Losi 8ight t 1.0, Hotbodies D8T Tekno conversion, Mugen MBX6TR, and now own a Kyosho ST-rr EVO. Losi got sloppy quickly, Hotbodies was nice but conversion wasn't great quality. Mugen was very good.... front arms a little weak buy I drive pretty wild! The Kyosho ( current truggy) is OLD technology, but is SUPERIOR! The Kyosho e-conversion is top notch and quality of parts is superb. People complain about the cost. ALL truggies are expensive to run and maintain. A few guys at our local track have Serpents and they are good machines also. One XRAY truggy, looks amazing, and a few Durangos'. Depends on your location and parts support.

I love my mugen truggy! I haven't had any problems with it. Everything works great and handles awesome. I would say mugen and tekno would be my only choices out of all of them.

I've been very happy with my losi 2.0-t with tekno conversion. Only small issue was I had a problem getting enough ride height in the rear without bottoming out the preloads.

Now that I put the 3.0 suspension on its solved that no problem and I can take the larger jumps without worrying about bottoming out. Biggest thing remaining is whats best for cell count. 4S is common but some people swear by 5s and 6s setups.

Really liking the e-truggy class so far. Much cleaner driving than i thought there'd be and a lot more strategy involved for passes as the cars are so wide. My losi 8ight 2.0 t is a joy to drive and really easy to do so fast. I'd say e-truggy will be just as big as e-buggy in time. I'm tempted to upgrade to a 3.0 and convert but right now my 2.0 feels awesome on track. I'd definitely give e-truggy a shot.

Truggys in the past ive ran a Eight-t 1.0 (Nitro) and RC8TCE (Nitro) and converted it to a Tekno V4 conversion i really did like the way it handled steering/jumping etc. However one big issue and that was the lack of E-Truggy showing up to have a class of them on club racing days only showing up at big races been like that for a long time .

So i ended up selling it a couple of mouths ago.
