Default Shock shaft pliers

Anyone use Shock Shaft Pliers and if so have ones they would recommend? thanks

Love em. Believe mine are losi. A bit expensive but sure beats marring the shaft and have your shocks leak.

I have used a couple brands , they all work well but these are by far the best set I have used :

tlr pliers and haven't looked back since. and honestly i don't know why i didn't buy them sooner.

I got the STRC ones from amain, work great and not as much as the TLR ones.
Best money I've spent!

thanks all I am looking at the STRC or the Protek ones so far...tired of taking a chance with the regular pliers.

I have the STRC pliers too and they are great. Money well spent IMO.

"Oh I'll just use regular pliers with a gripper on the shaft, should work fine! Who needs to spend money on dedicated shock pliers?"

I know some of you reading this thread have had those very same thoughts, stop and go get a pair. It really will make your life easier. I got a set of the STRC ones from my LHS and its made building shocks so much easier. Buy 1 tool for about the price of a few monster energy drinks and be done with it.

I picked up the Protek pliers a few months ago. The best money I have spent on tools in a long time. I always hated building shocks, but these pliers make it a piece of cake.
