the kyosho sc6 should be great also.. but for what price
finally it all depends on his budget

It would have to be near an even trade........my sc10 is is great shape and would be a roller..........I could slap on like 50 to it.......hints 22s 250(Im not sure of the price yet though....)

the 22sct has a massive support in the US as well as the SC10.2 so it's up to you
maybe it would be a bit more tricky to get parts for the Durango depending on your LHS.. and it needs a few mods to be solid
handling wise the losi 22sct should be easier because it's heavier, so a very good choice on low grip/ bumpy/ big tracks.. the SC10.2 is more suited for technical and smaller tracks IMO
to be honest I'm no Losi/ AE fan because the quality of the parts has never impressed me so far (compared with Mugen, Xray or Serpent for example..) but at least you would have absolutely no trouble to get support
I'm sure the Xfactory or the future SC6 would eat them for breakfast but it's not the same budget

Im really about handling the most though so I would try a new brand if y'all think it drives better
#25
Well I've definitely decide to get rid of my sc10.........after my 2 hours practicing.....my best lap was in my dads underpowered desc210
#26

the sc10 is overrated
I know I could be killed on a track one day for saying that but it is (had both the RTR and FT)
keep in mind some cars aren't made for some drivers, it happens... this is no exact science, sometimes a chassis that is supposed to be super easy for everyone won't fit YOU and then the only thing to do is to try another one
try some setups, work on the rig etc.. but if doesn't fit it doesn't fit a giant will never feel good in a goblin shoe
plenty of fishes in the sea
