I think 2whl is more prestigious now. 4whl could get it back with new growth.

2whl drive is so much harder to go fast.

If you look at club racing in the US 2whl has more people racing.

And 2whl is more of the common class that brings the whole world together.

Alot of people race trucks and 2whl here. But everywhere else its 2whl and 4whl. But everyone races 2whl.

4whl is coming back because of the crossover drivetrains from touring car. Makes it alot more economical for a company to make a 4whl instead ofa 2whl.

My favorite has always been 2whl mod though. The hardest class to be fast in. In my opinion.

I agree, but also think 4WD can be harder to setup and maintain which can put people off somewhat, although it seems that now most 4 wheelers are at least slightly based on the tourers we are all very familiar with.

I don't doubt it. I mean there were 3 guys all with a chance to win AND people wanted to be a witness to possible history

Yup 2wd is more prestigious (more technical) and as mentioned so much harder to be faster in, 4wd isnt so much harder to setup, you can make do with a half decent setup and still be fast in IMO but 4wd to me is a little more enjoyable to race
