Reedy sonic 544
Does anyone have any info on this new motor? I'm looking for something to our in my SCTE 2.0 and I'm thinking trinity revtech 4xs or the new reedy sonic 544. How is the 544? Good power? Smooth? Most important, how easy is it in the battery consumption?

I can give you my biased opinion.
We tested it against Tekin and LRP motors. It makes power similar to the tekin 550, meaning it has more torque the tekin 540.
The 4300 is pretty good on the battery and smooth but maybe not fast enough if the track is large. The 4800 is too fast, I think, for indoors. But could be made to work.
Motor is usually about 140-150 after 6 minute race. The 4800 will last about 12 minutes on a large indoor track with 7000mah pack.

I have this motor (4300) and can compare it to one of my favorite motors...Tekin pro4 4000. The Reedy is as smooth as the Tekin, but has more power and torque everywhere. Just turning the rotor freehand is evidence of the torque capability. It is battery friendly and even has adjustable timing at the end bell. Temps are hotter than the pro4 4000, but it has a higher kv. I bought this motor based on my experience with Reedy motors in my 2wd buggy and trucks. I say get it. You won't regret it.
