It's a worked 19T motor. Very quick. I raced against my friends crappy 15T and I beat him like he was going in reverse. The Chameleon2 Pro, kinda pricy, but for the speed and performance you'll get from it, it'll be worth every penny. I got one, and it was FANTASTIC in my TC3. And also because my Dually's limiter was off..

But I looked at the chemeleon 2 at www.towerhobbies.com and is says its a modified motor

It is. It's a MODIFIED 19T motor.

Tower Hobbies Says:

This is the Chameleon 2 Pro Modified Motor from Trinity. It features a

i thought modified motors need/ require a lot of maintaince. sry if im asking dumb questions i never realy upgraded any of my cars besides the esc

You won't have to maintain it a lot. When people here say:

"modified motors,
they're talking like 10 turn and 12 turn motors. This is a 19 turn motor. The maintainence of a higher turn motor is less.

I wnet to the hobby store today and picked up a chameleon 2 pro motor from trinity. While i was ther i saw another motor the Associated Reedy Flash Modified 17T Double> IS this motor any good?

ok if you are running the stock spur gear on the t3 then you should use an 18tooth pinion. just to let you know. maybe a 19 but 18 to be safe

I've heard its an okay motor. Its comparable to the Speedgems.
