nvd, looks like rf is rear motor and rf2 is mid. So how does one alter antisqaut? Is it just those spacers they show of varing thickness? How do I know what the antisqaut equals with the spacers?

Does no shims means its 1.5? As per the stock setup sheet Im guessing

if you follow the kit build with the .5mm shim under the RR hanger then it's ~1.5 if you have no shims under either hanger its ~2 degrees

what is the purpose of the two different thickness shims (Part A- 0.5mm or 1.0mm) between the frame and the front suspension mount?

Questions?? front shock oil weight

I have been building my new sc6 and built it MM set up to take a stick pack at first. I have a wts battery and want to experiment with transferring from front to rear.
Although I think I may just go with a shorty pack all the way to the rear of the truck eventually. I am looking at set ups and see most are using really heavy weight oils in the front shocks.
Can anyone explain why such heavy weight oils are being used in the front shocks. I generally never exceed 35 weight oil in the front shocks.
I am setting my truck up for med/high traction indoor clay tracks that are generally pretty smooth to run mostly 17.5.

Default 98% Done

After about a week long build (time is tight), the new SC is just about done. I've managed to reduce rotating mass by 43%, and the truck weighed in at a healthy 2094g, just 4g over the minimum Blinky weight. There's still 20+ screws that need to be converted to titanium, and that alone should save roughly 8-10g. There were a few items that actually added weight (rear hubs, rear suspension holders), but those were added for tuning purposes. Being an avid blinky racer, I needed to make sure I came in under weight, that way I could add a little here or there if needed.

Overall, the build went very very well. The only two complaints I have seem to be very common amongst Kyosho vehicles, instructions and the transmission being slightly tight. Can't wait to do some testing this weekend! Also working on a front sway bar mount, not sure it will be needed, but I'd like to have one just in case. Let me know what ya think.

The truck has way to much body roll and turns better than any other sc out there. It calms the truck down and lets you drive harder in the corner . I run 42.5ft 35 rear. Rm. Setup

Nice truck! I just finished my build and plan to have the electronics layout like yours but mid motor. I'd be interested in swaybar mount mate

In Tebo's set-up he states he is running the steering rack reversed but in the photos in this link the rack looks stock ????Anyone running the rack reversed I run it that way on my rb6 and like it a lot.

Thank you! Unfortunately, there isn't a ton of room to add a sway bar. I'm almost thinking of trying to make a torsion bar style sway bar, but still kicking around ideas. I've yet to run the truck, but from what everyone is saying it has a mess load of steering, and I think it'd benefit to have a bar up front. I'll know more and have a better idea after I run the truck a few times.

I finally figured out a way for a front sway bar. I still have to give it a try but I hope it helps on a high traction track. Just as cyoder#9 said, the truck has way to much body roll and turns better than any other sc out there.

I have a feeling Kyosho will come out with a new front shock tower as the shocks are layed in way too much.

Awesome.. keep us posted on that swaybar.

I don't think they will.. It's narrow like the 5 series front tower and that was never updated or a wider option available. But I'm hoping they do.
