Assume 22SCT of course. Pretty sure the answer is yes. I used TLR springs on the front but not the rear.

Try a smaller spur like 76 and maybe a 26 pinion. That's what I used in the past with success and will again once I get back to the track in a couple of weeks.

Hey guys. I am finishing up on my build and I just found out there isn't enough silicone in the included white bottle to fill all four shocks. Can someone tell me what weight that silicone is? Or should I just dump all three and use something else?

That surprises me as there was enough to fill mine. Anyway it should be 400cst so you can either top the shocks off with another bottle of 400cst or throw the kit oil away and use another brand of 400cst.

Congrats to Jason Smith and Bill Davis on their 1-2 finish in the winter season points series at our home track. We were all chasing those orange trucks this year. Good guys to be around and they represent their brand well. If I didn't enjoy doing home-builds so much I wouldn't hesitate to get a Serpent. For any fans of rear-motor who want a lot of steering, durability and stability in the air, this looks like the best choice.

We had a blast at the Serpent Challenge on Saturday. Another 1-2 finish for Jason and Bill in 2wd SCT. My son took 3rd behind them. Chris Young dominated Mod Buggy all day. Was nice to meet you Chris.

Nice. Looking forward to getting my Serpent SC. Should have it this week and wil go over it good since I bought it used. Really looks like a nice truck so I can't wait to try it out as soon as possibly this weekend.

Saturday, one of our fellow racers picked one up used for the outdoor season, so we may have another one to chase lol.

Sounds good to me. I think mine will be here Wed and Thur at the latest. Will be my first time running SC in about 4 years. When I quit running them it was by far my best class to race for me and my best driving. Last 4 years has mainly been mod 2wd buggy and little bit of stock buggy.

The local outdoor track I will run it at has a very large following on stock SC which I will run mainly because they get 15 to 20 of them and I work at a hobby shop part time to help my buddy out so I don't get any practice and show up late so SC I can dial in my driving so much faster with only a lap or two practice.

I think you're going to like it. Good multi-surface truck. Steering like a mid-motor, traction like a rear-motor. All the guys in my area are even running the gear diff outdoors and they still put the power down. No tuning required as the track dries out.
