What's the rest of the setup? Kit setup?

I started with kit setup and found it to jump great with shorty. Is this on every jump? Try diff approach. You tapping brakes in air to bring nose down? Check ride height?

Where do you race?

Southern Indiana. A friend drove it and felt the same way. Front end just feels lite.

May try to stiffen the front end up. I found the SC has a lot of steering with kit setup and shorty. You might be bottoming the front end on the face of the jump causing that. I've gone stiffer spring, sway bar, 1.5 piston, & heavier oil (37.5 AE) up front

Also looking for an aluminum servo horn, using savox 1258.
Thanks!
You will want to purchase more of the hub "pill" inserts.(mainly fronts) They seem to slop out quickly. Get carbide diff balls, and diff springs, and slipper springs. (maybe that's why they give you 2 in each package) Also more of the turnbuckle ends, they get sloppy too, and the shock cap bushings wear out too.

Or better yet for the Diff, order the Bfast Diff setup, and not have to worry about it for quite a while.

Switch to better orings, Kyosho or Traxxas seem to work.

I want to get the brass front bulk head, just haven't yet. And I am trying out the brass ackerman arms(2) soon.

The SC I don't really have any complaints.

I also bought all the nearly all the springs (not the really stiff ones)...

The astro springs are nice if you are looking to drop your ride height really low for carpet tracks.

I highly suspect that was his Durango. He ran the 2wd MM buggy/4wd wheeler/2wd ST prototype for sure though.

Any issues with the nylon nuts that attach the shock to the tower? I haven't had a problem just curious.

Sometimes I round them on the buggy but not on the SC as the body protects it. Some folks have switched to M3 nyloc ones but I really think that's for convenience of using a 5.5mm nut driver rather than extra locking ability.

I've been disappointed to see these used somewhere in every serpent kit I've had. But I've never had one fail or give me a problem.
