Also..I was talking to my LHS recently about the Amain/Hobbytown Worlds re-res and they were unaware that AE had made more batches of these cars. If you look at AE's site, they don't have any indication that they are for sale. Makes me think that AE made new batches for Amain/Hobbytown because I've found no other mainstream online store has them....Anecdotal of course.

Getting back into cars after almost 35 years-for the kids. I got out just before the RC10. Found my Cox Scorpion, but my Super Champ is still lost in a box somewhere (it might have a single stock part in it). Can not imagine trying to run ether (replacement parts, rofl). Saw a world car in Hobby Town, and almost got it instead of a Slash... Then hit eBay for a few SC10's, so bet a world car is going to happen. Retro is comforting.
Don't want to admit how many hours I have wasted researching on the net, but wanted to thank this forum for a huge wealth of information.

In case you have not seen it otherwise, in 2014, Tamiya rereleased the Super Champ under it's Japanese branded name: Fighting Buggy. A number of the parts should be available either thru your local hobby shop or Tamiya directly (http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/rcp...1#.WHPwcYWcHSY).

Dumb question, but this would help me out with another project -- are the turnbuckles on this car 1/8" in diameter?

If you want to run a retro car on modern tracks, the Rc-10W is probably the way to go, since it easily accepts modern tire sizes and people are running them and sharing setup info.

Hopefully someone can help me here -
My son's RC10WE has an issue - the dogbones pop out of the diff cups on pretty much every hard landing. I have the shocks mounted in the last outboard hole to reduce droop, but the dogbone pin is still right at the end of the cup. I have gone thru the rear axle assembly and it seems to have all the right shims and spacers. What else should I check?

The rear bones seem to be about 1-1.5mm too short. I run the blue spacers front the outside of the axle (pin side) on the inside instead to combat this problem. Over on RC10Talk.com there are a few different posts about this issue. Others have found a different bone to use, but I dont remember which one offhand or a part # - its a rear center bone from one of the b44 series cars, it fits perfect and eliminates the need to run the large spacer on the inside of the axle.
