Yes, unfortunately I couldn't tell you lol... I didn't mask the windows before painting the original body so I sprayed the entire thing 1 color then tossed it. Going to get a stock body soon to see if there is any difference.

i have tried several different methods to no avail. help please.
I doubt the shocks are what's sqeaking. My guess is the hinge pins in the hinge pin holders. Do they squeak when they aren't mounted to the car?

It's $200 for the set up. It does include a few other things but still expensive.

But what can you compare it to? It's more than just a trans case, it also changes the geometry of the car to an extent. I know of no other true machined delrin setup out there - it's one of it's kind. The 3D stuff pales in comparison.

I race my B5M FL stock at my track and have been running a 17.5 Reedy Sonic Mach 3 but I am getting killed on the straight aways by Killshot motors and D4 1SS since it doesnt have to be ROAR approved or anything. I mean even their stock class there is NON-BLINKY so we can run timing etc.

Anyway, I am wondering what is the fastest 17.5T motor (doesnt have to be legal) because I want to swith up this Mach 3 for one of these faster 17..5 turn motors!

Any advice or a link would be appreciated beccause I only have a couple days until my next race

Totally agree.

I was only commenting on 3D printed parts in general. If I was going to get a lay down transmission it'd be the delrin machined WWHD unit without question.

If you just race at that track and don't care to travel. This one from what I have heard. It is most definitely NOT ROAR legal!

Only because it's going to result in pages and pages of recommendations and most certainly debate of all different kinds, none of which will really relate to the B5M series. I'll ask that you use the Radio/Electronics thread for motor discussions like this. Thank you

You aren't giving much information but I doubt the M3 is the problem.
If you are allowed to run timing it's probably more to do with ESC settings.

Maybe weight difference in the cars too?

Man, if you are racing non-blinky 17.5, just step up and run mod. The glory of stock racing is the blinky requirement. The Mach3 17.5's are more than good enough to compete without having to spend $150 on a motor that you can't run at a track that has its poop in a group.

I was running my car dual purpose mod/stock. So i was boosting 17.5. I liked it. So I can see the draw if you only want to own one motor. That Bandit 17.5 boosts rather nicely. I know a guy boosting it in a t5m. comes off at 115 deg and can wheelie down the straight. still have a manageable low end for touch sensitive sections of the track. Previously he had tried a 9.5, but he was over doing all the low speed sections and found the power hard to drive.
