Its $50 and is every bit as good as its nearest legit competitor at more than twice its price point. Things have changed, 10.5 is a lot of motor.

All that being said, I feel like a bit of a traitor. I really like the folks at Tekin and their service but their products just aren't as good. I want to buy Tekin but the RS doesn't cut the mustard and if the RSX is the best they have I'll have to stick with Hobbywing or Orion (which hobbywing produces). Hobbywing in the US is based in Los Angeles and has excellent service too.
I ran a 9.5 Reedy with a Hobbywing Justock in my SC10.2 for quite a while, only reason I took it off was because I needed it for one of my touring cars.

Also want to ask where the best deal is for one at the moment, especially with black Friday tomorrow over there in the States.

10.5 super stock would be fun for sure!
I would recommend the Orion R10 Stock esc and a Reedy Mach 3 motor, pretty sweet combo!

Default Car's action after landing a jump

When my car lands it sometimes will kickout the rear end even when I am not on the throttle. When I jump it straight it will immediately turn to the left on landing. I have rebuilt my diff recently and I believe I have it adjusted properly -more on the loose side than anything else. I have the slipper adjusted on the loose side as well. Any thoughts on what I should be looking for in the car that would cause this kickout issue? Thanks.

Sounds like your bottoming out in the rear give your upper spring retainers a couple twists to add some preload or maybe go up a touch in shock oil weight to slow down the shock if that doesn't work go up a spring rate

Not sure if this is out of place to ask -- but I've been wanting to pick-up a new kit and Massdrop is currently offering what looks like a pretty solid b5m bundle.

Anyone see any red flags in this list? Been looking into it and everything seems decent, but I’m also still kinda new to this.

I personally would not want that. mostly because the cause has been discontinued and is missing a ton up updates.

If it's a great price it wouldn't be too bad. The only Savox motor I have seen ran WAY hot. If I were serious about running 17.5 I wouldn't want to be running a 25C battery either. Also, if MC Ions aren't the tire of choice at your track then they aren't very useful either. I guess what I'm saying is we need more info about your situation.

They have it up for $499 for all of it, with the "lowest" at $449.99. Which seems really good? At least good enough to ignore the stuff I wouldn't use, like the Ions, which look better matched to indoor clay than our local outdoor dirt track.

I could find very little on Savox motors, their servos are everywhere but I didn't even know they made motors -- so that's very helpful thank you. Less worried about the battery as I have others that would be better in the long run.

Also didn't realize the team kit is discontinued. I'll have to think about it more I guess, the price is pretty appealing though.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Just like the 22 3.0 is for those who own a 2.0

Unlike TLR. The good thing for AE guys, the CE isn't a "new" car. Meaning you can buy a Team or Lite car pretty cheap and it's still basically the current platform. Good deals can be had for those not absolutely wanting/needing the CE car.
