Looking to use the slipper eliminator on the B5M 17.5 stock blinky racing. Any pros and cons? How does it wear on the diff having no slipper. Thanks for any info.

The battery compartment looks cool and AE could be there with a few minor tweaks if they wanted too. AE can now look at that car and make some changes if they look to be good changes. Nice to see updates, it pushes all manufacturers which gives us all great products. It was interesting to hear Frank Root talk about the benefit they saw from the 3 gear to 4 gear.

New B5MFL comes with all sorts of goodies. One upgrade that would be nice and worth an extra 10 bucks in the kit are the x rings and machined pistons that would make them top notch nothing better shock package from the box. Kashima and V2's not really needed but would take it over the top but cost prohibitive for sure.

Good post

The 22 3.0 is scary similar to the b5m. Like, a copycat you could almost call it.

In general shape maybe but the suspension geometry is extremely different.

I went all tlr cars recently because the latest gen of AE cars werent working out for me...

Maybe when they include the nice kashima shocks new springs, xrings, and less plastic ill reconsider. No matter what i do with it it just doesnt fit my driving style...

lol, I said the next car would probably have the updated shocks....and it does. Otherwise, pretty boring

lol, both flat and gulwing arms? both 2 pad and 3 pad slippers? And the coolaid front wing? Updated shock bodies, but crappy eclip shafts and pistons, meh. And a price tag of 325....so ae included more stuff and charged you for it all.....not hating, I think they could have done better on the shocks. ditch all the extra tuning parts and include the machined pistons and v2 shafts.

I think the new car is aimed at customers looking to switch over to the B5M platform after all of its recent success at Nationals and Worlds. It comes with all the upgrades and tuning options everyone would normally buy. While everyone argues you need nothing more than a box stock Team B5M, you REALLY do not need anything more with this new kit. I don't think its for existing owners (like us) as we have all those goodies already. More for people looking to switch to the brand.

Yeah i know. I think new owners would rather have machined pistons, v2 shafts and xrings over both gear boxes, slippers and front arms.
