I am referring to rear side bite. There is a little less forward bite also. But I have forward bite to spare. Also, it feels like there is more bone lockup with the stock outdrives, giving on power push. I picked up a set of MIP shiny pucks to try. I am curious to see how much of what I feel is bone bind and how much is just weight.

If you remove the weight difference between the stock outdrives and shafts and the pucks system, the car will certainly rotate differently. And also as wildcat has said, they don't bind as much under load, and offer a slight benefit to on-power steering.

Guys that have issues with the stock slipper,
Are you using it as a traction aid or a transmission protector. If you use your finger to keep the rear wheels hooked up you don't ruin the pads. The stocker is great. New car owners, shouldn't be told that it needs to be upgraded.

Moving past the slipper lets talk shocks.... Xrings I like much better than stock. Kashima shocks look really cool but no performance upgrade. I have used both gold and chrome v2 shafts, chrome are smoother.

Ballcups? Mine were perfect. Well my most recent ones. In the past they were annoying

A factory sponsored guy was the first one to warn me that the stock slipper is garbage. I don't need any other evidence for me to get something that works. If you can get the stocker to work, good for you! But delusionally expecting a new owner to believe it's just fine is a bit of a stretch. Wasn't this issue very well discussed about 600 pages ago?

The associated slippers aren't trash. Whoever is tellling you this hasn't paid attention to his fellow sponsered drivers who are taking the hardware home while using these slippers. They are pretty proven.
