For the guys with the floppy pistons.. they make pills for that. But on a serious note, are you jumping supercross stuff week in and week out? I'm usually fighting to get the eclip on every time I make a change and my car is a year old

I think AE quality is still pretty poor. When I built my Lite kit, I had several ball studs with no hexes in the head and several that were too short. Nothing major, but I've never had a single issue with a TLR, or Kyosho or Schum. kits.

Glue the insert in! When they get loose it destroys your bearings from the axle not being aligned. I keep a set of steering blocks with each trailing insert glued up and ready to go.

Several guys do. They allow more precise adjustments to gearing.

got a lot of interest for what you sayin'
what config. do you ride ? 3 gear box ?

i'm actually drivin' a Bmax2 mr and wanna change it
i hesitate between the lite and the standard B5M
60% of the tracks i ride are low bite dusty ones, the rest are indoor carpet
maybe i better have to buy a lite for indoor races and change the gearbox (by a 4) for the outdoor races...

any advices ?

Hey I remember the oval guys would remove the dog bone pin and replace it with weed wacker line. Any clue if its a specific size? Or, other options are puck like system but not necessarily the weight loss as I plan on running mod more in the future.

My concern is 3 events in with an all new drivetrain and I'm already seeing flat spotting on the pin and I'm pretty sure that means the diff half is being affected also.

I found my lite didn't have the revised tie rod ends. Still need to be loosened up. Otherwise, nicely done kit.

I found my team c stuff to be even better as far as build quality... Tie rod ends and ball studs just worked on the team c stuff.

Default Associated Servo Horns

J & A are 23 tooth. J fits my spektrum 6040 servo but A does not. Anyone know why? Thinking inner diameter of horn must be different.

You'll get 10 answers for each question you ask, but since you asked me directly, I'm more than happy to speak on this.

I race 3 tracks, two are indoor and super high bite. 1 is outdoor and low-medium bite track that is hard pack with a little dusty layer.

I run the MIP 3 gear in modified, and I couldn't be happier. Indoors the car carries massive corner speed, and outdoors the car just builds massive amounts of rear traction, so much that I only run 2.5 toe on the rear. The mid motor car can be picky on tire selection, but once I found a tire the car was happy with, it's been a treat outdoors. The plastic 3 gear would net the same result as the MIP in my opinion.

I've seen the bmax2 be really good outdoors as well.
