Aluminum screws are really brittle compared to titanium. My buddy had hem and they all rounded out pretty quick. You have to have a fresh hex driver each time or its gonna be bad news
Or, instead of forcing the threads to form with a screw, you could cut threads with a tap and have no problem using aluminum screws. Now, aluminum is not nearly as strong as steel or titanium, so the use of aluminum screws should be limited to low stress areas. Nice thing is aluminum is even lighter than titanium.

When re-inserting aluminum screws into plastic I always turn the screw the wrong direction until I feel the screw drop. This tells me that I now have the threads aligned and I will not be cutting new threads when I screw it in. You have to try it once or twice to feel what I mean by dropping into the threads. It is hard to explain that feeling.
Which places are you guys using the alum screws, and what ones would you keep steel or Ti?

I've owned a car with alloy screws before. Never again, Ti is just so much stronger though slightly heavier.
Does anyone no the screw size for the exotek slipper eliminator. Wanna go with a lighter screw set for the spur.

Count the gears. Shot from the B5m lite manual. To each his own. I always run it towards the spur to remember which side the head is on.... all adjustments (slipper, gear mesh, diff) on the same side.
easy way to remember kit location for thrust bolt. its always on the passenger side of the car or right side. doesnt matter if its 3 or 4 gear

Yes..and the Lite has the 3 gear which would put thrust bolt head on passenger side of car.
Is there any reason I should get the b5M lite if I will just run mod?
