With all these treadless slick tires coming out, anyone try their b5m on asphalt onroad tracks?
Looking forward to try out some slicks, putting a sway bar, stiffer springs and heavier oil to run through it paces at the local onroad track.

Confused... On this set up do I mount the rear camber block so it's +2mm or thick side up or bevel side on the Schelle or do I do -2mm. His notes say "aluminum ball stud mount -2mm up" which confused me.

Since he is running a 3mm ballstud spacer there, it's safe to say its down. So its like stock +1mm spacer. Otherewise it would be like a 5mm spacer

That's part of why I was confused as well haha, I thought to myself why run -2mm w 3mm spacer instead of stock w 1mm but ok thanks. I assume he's running no spacers on the hub?

It specifies which hole is used on the hub but not how many washers. You can clearly see some ballstud washers on the rear hub (but not how many). For what its worth I am running the same link and have 3mm on the hub.

Yeah the whole inline battery or battery and electronics topic has confused me. Maybe its just personal preference, or believing something feels better because you want it to... but any of the big races I've been to, Cav and those guys have their batteries and electronics in the stock locations, and not hacking up their cars to relocate anything. I did see Cav moved his steering servo to the opposite side on his B44.3... but other than that, if the pros aren't cutting cars apart to get them to handle, I cant believe they don't work without re-configuring everything.
Just switched back from Inline to stock to see and for my current track layout it worked much better

There's a local asphalt oval where I live that has some electric offroad classes. The soft compounds are too much for that track. You get a ton of speed in the straights, then come into the corner a bit fast, flip, and tumble into the chainlink fence (don't ask me how I know...). There was a guy there that tried out the aka slicks and didn't like them at all. I ran the dirt hawgs on my buggy and they do just fine grip wise. My father likes to buy some used pin or bar tires from off here and run them. after a heat or two, they are starting to turn into a slick anyway

battery location is personal preference inline and stock positions both work, depending track and driver. i like mine inline for now less chassis roll and more corner speed for me. it would be nice if we didn't have to cut the car but it not to much trimming.

I didn't lower my buggy that much because A. it didn't feel like it needed it and B. if I got messed up or had to avoid someone and ended up in the grass, I didn't want to get stuck.
I honestly never measure my ride height. I tweak it a little here and there, but it's probably something I overlook a lot.
Also, this wasn't a b5m either; It was a GT2 rear suspension converted to electric and buggy arms plus a b4 front end with a delrin chassis connecting the two
