To anyone with the Xfactory Chassis, I have the aluminum rear a-arm mounts and it doesn't sit flush inside the chassis... Has anyone come across this? I noticed this when I went to tighten the mount into the chassis and saw it flexing.

Ran the inline battery setup today and all i can say is wow... Didnt feel like a dog in mid and exit cornering anymore!! Rotates so quick. Knocked .5 second off my laptimes!! Buggy was unbelievably so easy to drive!! It fealt so much more better jumping also... Could tailwhip so easy and readjust mid air if you launched off position. What an unbelievable change of heart cause I kept on switching back to the rear motor car. So glad i stayed with it and found this setup!!! Thank you guys!!

I don't have the chassis, but I follow the company and IIRC the first batch or two didn't have enough material removed for certain rear a-arm mounts. You should contact them and I'm sure they'll help you get this figured out.

My setup from testing and tuning today. After moving to the shorty, my car felt great, but it was "too stood up" and rotated way too much in corners. It also lacked traction in general. After going to green rear springs for our track that can get pretty slippery, I played with the front and determined I really needed to go back to the gray springs as it was just not stable enough with the whites I as running previously from outdoor racing. That got it better, but it still felt like it had inconsistent rotation. It wasn't a traction thing, it was rotation under braking was not like it should be. I started playing with rear droop and went from 26.5 to 27.5 and that was the ticket.

I ran that setup with 1.5 fronts and 1.6 rears. White rear springs with grey front springs also...absolutely glued.

So I just picked up the Schelle Nova Slipper! I've noticed a lot of comments about stock pad set-up, but what are you guys running for mod?
I run on carpet and high grip clay- so would white-red-red be good? Or would it put down too much power from my 7.5?

The Lunsford screws are grade 5 made in the usa with ti made in the usa, others are grade 2. I would prefer a grade 5 over grade 2 any day!

Hey guys thought I would post this link to a video up for anyone interested in seeing the difference in running your battery Inline vs. Sideways in a 2wd buggy. Hope this helps answer some question anyone may have on the subject.

Yeah the whole inline battery or battery and electronics topic has confused me. Maybe its just personal preference, or believing something feels better because you want it to... but any of the big races I've been to, Cav and those guys have their batteries and electronics in the stock locations, and not hacking up their cars to relocate anything. I did see Cav moved his steering servo to the opposite side on his B44.3... but other than that, if the pros aren't cutting cars apart to get them to handle, I cant believe they don't work without re-configuring everything.

Nick, from AE was hacking up his car. He was trying the battery inline and the esc on top. He posted that he was unsure if he liked it or not.

No kidding? that's interesting. There are some fast guys by us who swear by the inline, and other who don't. That got me thinking that maybe Associated wouldn't let team drivers modify things that heavily and possibly hurt sales, being that the engineers didn't catch this from the start. Its got me curious to try it... and I suppose its easy enough to switch back. For those who switched... do you find it helps you in balance, or traction? if it induces more side bite, I'd be all for it.
