Hobbywings are really nice for the price. I like my Vipers the best so far, but if I switched it would be to Hobbywing.

(BEFORE I get building) based on your time with YOUR B5's What upgrade parts/options make this Kit faster, lighter more durable & just plain more AWESOME? What needs to be upgraded during my build and what I should consider in the future?

Thanks for your help

Nothing, run it stock and replace/upgrade the parts as needed when they break or wear out.

Also definitely reccomend the AE app. RC Cheat Sheets app. Will help give you a guide of what tuning to try under limited timeframes.
Cannot find that app on Android. Is it iPhone only?

1 mm blue washer instead of 2 under the front ballstud at the front shock tower, correct?

Thanks!

The position of the ballstud does not change from the build sheet, just remove the spacer. and correct about the 1mm spacer

I think replacing the front axle to rid yourself of the inside screw falling out is worth replacing out of the git go.

It just means your phone is not likely on the compatibilty list, the play store will not show you an app you can't install most of the time.

Default Marine grease??

New to 1/10 Buggies but not Bashers. Every basher I have owned I have always taken apart their front and rear diffs and packed them with marine grease. Mostly to water proof/resist but also to keep everything well greased and free of dirt and grim in my bearings and gears.

Now to my question: should this be done while building my new B5?

I have tried the tekins and just didnt like their lack of feel. some people like them on high bite, in 17.5 because you dont need feel, you just grip and rip
