Do you think the ceramics are worth it or just the regular bearings from schelle.

Thanks!

As far as radios go, I use an M12 and have an MT4 for my 4x4 SC and as a spare. I've used them all. The KO Eurus is the most comfortable but I had the modules go and the rxs have a fragile crystal in them that is prone to breaking. The KIY was a novel idea. You can't go wrong with a 4PK s/r/x....whatever Futaba is on now. Futaba makes good stuff. The Spektrum is entry level....I'll leave it at that. I use to really hate the Airtronics radios. I especially hated the M11 so its quite a surprise that I absolutely love everything about the M12. Taking my new found fondness of Airtronics a step further I'll go out there and say that the MT4 is the best radio you can get for your money. Its like a baby m12 for half the cost. If I had a budget that's what I'd buy.

For the price you can't beat a Savox 1257 or 1258. I've had one of those Protek servos do weird things....it acted like an old JR servo when the centering pin in the servo case would break or wear, the servo would constantly try to find center....it looked like it was glitching whenever the car was still.

I had that same issue with a Protek 100ss. I have a JR 9100s so I know that jitter problem all to well. But the JR is over 5yrs old, the Protek started that after a few race weekends.

I 've never had that problem with the 100ss but then again I've never bought one. For the most part I use the KO RSX servos or Savox....or a Futaba if I have one. I think the Futaba is the most under rated servo made, Like I said a post or two above, they make good stuff.

One last thing that I want to point out is that I actually have all the stuff that I recommend and some of the stuff that I don't like. I'm more than happy to post pics of stuff that I'm putting to use. I have a few Savox 1251's that bit the dust. Those are terrible for off road. If anybody wants one that needs a gearset I'll give it to you if you pay shipping.

This may be rantish, but having worked in customer service for years when something that new breaks, you take care of the customer.

The radio works very well for my needs, but I don't want to go all in on something I am having doubts about now - between my two receivers and the radio I could probably get close to $160 - and an MT4 is 220.... only reason why those gears started turning.
Where did you buy it? May still be new enough to get the retailer to exchange instead.

I did this on a novak system once with amain. Called novak and they said my problem was a "known issue" and to send it in to get replaced with a 2 week turn around, called amain and they let me send it back for store credit.

This is my B5 RM. I have the same setup in my B5M, but don't have a photo handy ATM...

Local shop - I've spent a lot with them in recent months and I am going to head up there tomorrow to see what they can do - I'm really hoping they will work with me considering the business I've given them recently. I called and they said no dice but the guy on the phone was their worst employee.

I think it is a radio. And yeah, most LHS have a no return policy. They require you to go through the manufacture warranty.
