Hey guys I just ordered a B5M the other day. I just wanted to know what spare parts I should mostly keep in my pit box? (If any....)
Is there going to be a Factory Team Version on this car anytime soon or is this it?

Hello everybody,
I currently have a Schum KF and I'm seriously considering the B5m. I'm after some feedbacks on both but more specifically on my issue with the KF.
I run the KF 80% of the time on carpet/pvc/cork multi-surface floor. I'll pass on the details but after 2 months of setup fighting (even with official schum drivers who've been very helpful thank again) I give up. I can't get it to work for me on multi-surface. To be fair the KF is the queen on astro which represents 20% of my track time in the year. I need something more polyvalent "straight out of the box".
I use to have a 22 2.0 which I never had so much trouble in setting it up and pretty much work on any surface. Not as good on astro as the KF but it worked and that's all I ask for. I'm in a situation where I don't have the luxury of spending entire afternoons to test many set ups (the club is open 1h 1/2 a week max).
I feel that the B5m would be better for my needs. Could you help me on feedbacks ? Couldn't test the B5m as nobody has it at my club (France 10-15man club) and the only ones I saw was at a racing event with people I didn't know anyway.
Thank you in advance
Jonathan

Setup notes for an ultra lightweight stock b5m:
My goal: make my 1460 gram car work as well as it did when it was heavier - without adding any weight back on. I started with white springs and 30wt front and rear
After a day of testing I settled on
Green spring front and rear
Losi25wt front and rear
1.6 pistons - I didn't really test these.
Gold dirt webs aka foam front
I go back and forth between gold and blue dirt webs on the rear.
I'm also running the b5r front tower and arms
What I'm still struggling with:
It doesn't seems like my rear is hooking up in the rear the way I want it too. When I have the steering I want, the car gets a little loose. Not like spin out loose, but just enough so that I'm scrubbing speed at the apex.
I still need to try the b5r rear arms. I'll see if that helps

Factory team car will be harder to sell with the alum parts adding weight and so many people running stock. Great for a mod though, funny thing is if a stock guy buys the FT car may be shelfing some parts for plastic as needed. On the RM car it is already pretty light so it may be an FT winner. The FT car would need to bring something more to the table other than parts swap. A full FT kit with RM conversion in it-build what you need, bigger harddrive, more ram.....something .
