I think I just need more time with the 75 lap times are about the same but the car felt faster through the turns.
Give this a go..

As the motor is moved further back you gain traction, more rotation though.

Moving the motor forward will gain steering, less traction.

suggesting
Softer rear spring
Add 1mm shim under rear ball stud if more grip needed.

Can also try more toe,
3.5/1 instead of above.

Thankyou guys for the advice I've been out of the hobby for 23 yrs so I have a lot to learn. Going to order the mm conversion soon and give it a try sticking with the 75 for now hopefully it will help make the transition to mm a little easier.

My b5m geared 72/33 with a 17.5 reedy sonic with 43* timing never goes above 160 degrees. The car is at 1562g rtr. With my 7.5 78/21 I never go above 130. No heat problems at all for me. People that run 69/32 run into heat issues.

Ok i know this is a loaded ? But I'm buying a new motor, I would like to race mod but usually only have 1 mod main and it's almost all sponsored drivers so I'm sticking to stock. I have a trinity fantom v4 17.5 and I have been told the sure speed and hacker motors are the fastest and rUn the coolest for stock. What are your thoughts on the 2...or another u think k is good. Thanks

AE rim's are lighter then the rest & by a fair amount.

Easy couple gram per wheel.
